We are registered to accept the following Early Years Funding:

Funded early education and childcare for 3 and 4 year olds - Every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to 570 hours of universal funded early education and childcare per year, this is usually known as 15 hours funding. Children are eligible for the 15 hours from the term after they turn 3 years old, term start dates are 1 September, 1 January and 1 April.

Together for Two’s - Funded early education and childcare for two year olds for families who claim additional benefits or if the child is looked after by a local authority / has an education, health and care (EHC) plan / gets Disability Living Allowance / has left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order. No income thresholds apply.

30 hours childcare for eligible working parents - Parents may be able to claim up to 30 hours of free education and childcare for their child aged from 9 months if they are working and meet the eligibility criteria.

For information on help with childcare costs including Tax Free Childcare, Tax Credits for childcare and Universal Credit for Childcare. Please go to:

The website has an eligibility checker and details of how to apply for funding. Parents do not need to apply for the 15 hours universal funding, it is truly universal. The childcare provider applies for the funding on the parents behalf.

Parents do need to apply for the Together for Two’s funding and the 30 hours working parents funding - To find out if you are eligible please visit:

beststartinlife.gov.uk/eligibility-checker

To secure a child’s funded place (15 or 30 hours) Parents need to complete a parent contract with the Childcare provider and provide a copy of their child’s birth certificate. If parents are accessing the Together for Two’s or the 30 hours funding they will need to provide the childcare provider with their eligibility code.
